Jerry Lynn Bailey age 71 of Mantee, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Jerry was born on May 27, 1954, in Kilmichael, Mississippi, to John Lloyd Bailey and Epple Odell Murphy Bailey and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Bailey is survived by his daughter, Frances A. Bailey of West Point, Mississippi; three sisters, Jimmie Charlene Neal of Woodland, Mississippi and Betty Jean Kline of Wren, Mississippi and Barbara Griffin of Houston, Mississippi; three brothers, Donnie Bailey of Vardaman, Mississippi, Tommy Glenn Bailey of Winona, Mississippi and John Edward Bailey of Alabama; one grandson, Franklyn E. Bailey of Houston, Mississippi and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Marie Dodd Bailey; both parents, John Lloyd Bailey and Epple Odell Murphy Bailey; one sister, Geraldine Shann and one brother, Lloyd Bailey. Funeral Services for Jerry will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00PM until time for services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Freewill Cemetery in Stewart, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Freewill Cemetery. Rev. Martin Jacks will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Christopher Griffin, Bruce Burkeen, Cody Griffin, Bobby Moss, Dewey Cannon, Barry Savly and Dalton Webster. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements.
