Jerry Mack Baker

Jerry Mack Baker, age 79, of Terrell, Texas, passed away on January 8th, 2023. Jerry was born on October 5th, 1943 in Talty, Texas to Lillie Mae (Hailey) Baker and Thomas (Tommy) Henry Baker.
Jerry grew up with his siblings on a farm. He worked in the brick yard in Mesquite, Texas and then went to work at the city of Dallas for 30 years before his retiring and taking care of his land and cattle and his family. He was always willing to help anyone that needed anything.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of almost 60 years Mary (Brand) Baker; 3 daughters, Nancy (Baker) Jones with husband Stephen, Teresa (Baker) Pickens with husband James, and Cynthia Baker; 6 granddaughters, Ashley Cooper, Amanda Peters, Leona Allyson Freitas, Shania Freitas, Kailee Freitas, Emily Freitas; 6 great grandchildren, Addison Cooper, Kinsley Cooper, Skylar Peters, Hailee Escalante, Matthew Escalante, Brynlee Baker, and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Lillie Mae (Hailey) Baker and Thomas (Tommy) Henry Baker; 6 brothers, Billy Baker, Thomas Baker, Jack Baker, Floyd Baker, Lloyd Baker, Bobby Joe Baker; 3 sisters, Marie Kearney, Lou Ann Luttrell, Dorothy Baker; and great grandson, Brayden Cooper.
Pall Bearers for the service are Robert White, William Hailey Jr., Matt Escalante, Bobby Baker, Ronnie Baker, and Jason Peters.
