Jerry Lee Beaird left this world to join his Heavenly Father on December 23, 2025, at the age of 76. Jerry was born on May 29, 1949, in Palestine, Texas, to Jim and Lillian (Anderson) Beaird.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Army as a marksman in special forces, demonstrating courage and commitment that would stay with him throughout his life. For over twenty years, he was a dedicated member of the Sons of the American Legion, embodying the spirit of service and camaraderie that defined his character.
In 2013, Jerry became an active member of Trinity Fellowship Church, where he would forge vital connections and contribute to his community. For the past decade, he served as president on the board of directors for Trinity Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, helping to provide sustenance and support to those in need. His unwavering commitment to service was a testament to his compassionate nature.
Jerry's professional journey included time as a forklift driver, employment in the pipeline industry, and a significant role with the gas company. His work ethic and dedication earned him the respect and affection of colleagues and friends alike.
Jerry was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Newman Beaird, whose partnership and love enriched his life. Together, they created a legacy of kindness and community involvement that will continue to inspire those who knew them. Jerry is also survived by children, Jerry Beaird, Jr., Tammy Beaird, Chad Beaird and Suzanne Beaird; brothers, Larry Beaird of wife, Lisa and Jim Beaird and wife, Syliva; sister, Kathy Jacobs and husband, Paul; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held to honor Jerry's life and contributions to his family and community at 2 P.M., Friday, January 2, 2026, at Trinity Fellowship Church, Trinity, Texas, as friends and loved ones come together to celebrate the remarkable life he led.
As we bid farewell to this wonderful man, we reflect on the profound impact he had on those who knew him. Jerry Lee Beaird will be deeply missed, but his spirit and legacy will endure in everyone's hearts.
