Jerry Dwain Bennett Jr.

Jerry Dwain Bennett Jr., age 61 of North Little Rock, AR, gained his wings on October 5, 2024. He was born in Heber Springs, AR on January 20, 1963, to Jerry Dwain Bennett Sr. and Freddie Euverne Thacker.
Though his first name was Jerry, he mainly went by Dwain, and that is what everyone knew him by. Dwain is known for his selfless spirit and generosity when it came to helping others. He always said, "God put me on this earth to twist wrenches," and that is exactly what he did. He had his first mechanic job at 16 years old. He then opened his own mechanic business named Dwain Bennett's Auto Service, and later went on to work for United Parcel Service (UPS) where he was employed for over 20 years. He later finished his mechanic career at FedEx. Dwain is a United States Army Veteran and faithfully served his country for four years. He loved anything outdoors from hunting to fishing. He always had his camera out ready to capture a photo or video. He was of the Baptist faith and believed in God.
Dwain is preceded in death by his mother Freddie Euverne Thacker and his father Jerry Dwain Bennett Sr. His grandparents Fred and Bernice Thacker. His sister Theresa Lynette Evants-Burks, and brother Rodney Darrell Bennett. His uncle Truman Lonzo Thacker Jr. (Guyla). His niece Chey Romance Denise Bennett.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Hunter Bennett, and two daughters Savannah Everwood, and Amelia (Tanner) Sawrie. His one grandchild, Audrey Kirkdoffer. His one nephew Bailey Nealy, and two nieces Danielle Evants and Nicole Grant. Dwain has many cousins and multitude of friends whom he also considered his family.
Memorial service will be held at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, AR on October 12, 2024, at 2 p.m.
