Jerry Wayne Blaylock born December 17th, 1957 to the late Eston "Cork" Blaylock and Rosie Elvena Blaylock (Cobb), went home to be with the Lord on December 5th, 2025 at his home on 5508 Hunter Rd., Ooltewah TN.
He is preceded in death by wife of 21 years Patricia Ann Blaylock (Biggs). Brothers Eston Ronnie Blaylock SR & Poochie (Nellie), and Donnie Blaylock & Beverly. Sister Regina Guier & Raymond.
Jerry was happiest in his garage working on cars, tractors, and anything else that might need to be fixed, if it could be fixed he could fix it, or argue with you until you agreed with him.
He is survived by wife of 17 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Blaylock (Goodson), daughter Angel Harris (Donald), son's Greg Morgan (Deloris), Billy Morgan (Kim). Step son's, JR Murphy, and Danny Belt, and step daughters Jennifer (Anthony) Brown, and Mary Belt.
Grand children Brandon Morgan (Kasey), Trinity Hamilton (Jerry), Delilah Harris, Jordan Brooks, TJ Brooks (Kathleen), and many other grand children, a total of 21 great grandchildren.
Jerry had many, many friends and was always looking for a new friend to chat with. He loved talking and gossiping on the phone, just like his mama.
The Lord decided to end his suffering from cancer and make his lungs healthy again. He is also survived by niece Bridget Blaylock, and Ronnie Blaylock JR, they were more like kids than niece and nephew.
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home - Chattanooga Chapel located at 6018 John Douglass Drive in Chattanooga. Additional visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9:00AM until 12:00PM. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will immediately follow beginning at 12:00PM in the Chapel at Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Willard Griffin, Jr., officiating. Following the service, Jerry will be laid to rest in the New McDonald Cemetery.
