Jerry Bradshaw Obituary
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford Bradshaw and Jack Bradshaw; and sisters, Dorothy Ledford, Betty Jean Robinson, Margie McKenzie, and Annie Sue Ledford.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Bradshaw; his children, Beth (Shawn) Ghavidel, Kimberly Ledford, and Tiffany (Drew) Hassell; grandchildren, Connor (Gabby) King, Ryder Ledford, Sawyer Ghavidel, and Millie Hassell; great-grandchild, Juliana King; brothers, Junior Bradshaw, Leon Bradshaw, and James Bradshaw; and sister, Opal Carnes. Many other family and friends survive.
He was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time in God's created nature, fishing, gardening, and rabbit hunting with his beagles. He had a strong work ethic and raised Black Angus cattle in addition to his job at the Towns County Water Authority. He was a lover of Blue Grass Gospel Music. Above all else, he was completely devoted to his family.
Jerry will be remembered for his lively sense of humor. His loved ones have many fond memories of the pranks he pulled on them and others.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5th at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randall Moss officiating. The family requests that friends and loved ones gather at Cochran Funeral Home prior to the service to process to the cemetery. Music provided by Nola Jean and Willie Nichols.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Shawn Ghavidel, Drew Hassell, Connor King, Cliff Bradshaw Jr., Darren Bradshaw, and Seth Nichols.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiawassee, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee on Thursday, April 4th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
