Jerry Lee Brown: Born in Gurdon, Arkansas on September 3, 1934 to William Herbert Brown and Mary Elizabeth Elkins. Jerry married the love of his life Lora Lee Benoit on May 17, 1953 Jerry and Lora started their lives together at the age of 11 as childhood friends later, finding each other again at the age of 15 and marrying at the age of 17 and 18. Giving Jerry and Lora 67 wonderful years together. Jerry and Lora spent their years raising a family, traveling the world, and building a successful chain of convenient stores. He had many early life accomplishments such as being a football and basketball AllStar in high school and having his private pilot license. Jerry was also a proud Entrepreneur and Mason.
Jerry enjoyed camping in the Rocky Mountains. Taking the grandchildren on his pontoon for a day of fishing with a picnic basket full of Lora's pimento cheese sandwiches. He also enjoyed the solo trips he and Lora would take to Hawaii for each grandchild's 12th birthday. Jerry mostly enjoyed the simpler things like mowing for hours on his lawnmower, lunch dates with his wife, summer barbecues with family, and long naps in the afternoon. His quick wit, sarcasm, and sense of humor, always kept friends and family on their toes and laughing. Most of all he enjoyed the every day life with his sweetheart.
Jerry has been a member of the Longview Missionary Baptist Church for 68 years where he grew his love and faith for our Lord and Savior. Jerry is currently celebrating his homecoming with our Lord and his beloved wife, Lora.
Jerry was loved by all who knew him, especially his wife, Lora Lee Brown, daughters, Kristine, Dena, and Leslie. Jerry was cherished by his 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife, Lora Brown, his parents, Herbert and Mary Brown, his precious daughter, Karen, his grandson, Hunter Britegam and in-laws, Lester and Opal Benoit.
Jerry Lee Brown is survived by his daughters Kristine Denise Gallagher (Mike) of Parker CO; Dena Suzanne Lynch (Ed) of Crystal Beach FL; Leslie Nicolette Brown of Avinger TX
Also survived by his grandchildren: Nikolaus Britegam(McKenzie), Lindsey Freiesleben(Joe), Fletcher Etheridge(Lauren), Leah Bonno(Zac), Kate Schmidt(Jeff), Mallory Raibourn(Brandon), Cassidy Caffey(Matthew), Shelby Williams(Jeremy), Colten Allshouse(Gracie), Jordan Escamilla(Rylee).
In addition: Callum Britegam, Cailey Steponzi(Philcan), Kennedy Steponzi, Cwen Steponzi, Liv Steponzi, Alexander Bonno, Shepherd Bonno, Paxton Schmidt, Callan Schmidt, Riley Allshouse(Jordan), Catcher Raibourn, Rhett Raibourn, Camden Caffey, Camryn Caffey, Mason Fomby, Koah Fomby, Liam Allshouse.
Along with his fur baby Sadie May and bird Howard.

Longview, TX 75605 on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10 AM. He will be buried at the Memory Park Cemetery, 2823 E. Marshall Ave.,
Longview, TX following the service. A reception will take place to celebrate Jerry's life after the graveside service at Papacitas.
