Jerry Scott Bunnell

Jerry Scott Bunnell, a resident of Munfordville passed away at the age of 78, Sunday, October 8th at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He retired from the engineering department with South Central Rural Telephone Company after 30 years of service. Jerry was a member and deacon of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with beloved dog, Trooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ruby Bunnell; a sister Betty Jo Bunnell and seven brothers James Henry Bunnell, Kenneth Bunnell, Max Bunnell, Jack Bowling Bunnell, Teddy Bunnell, Tony Bunnell and Charles Rhea Bunnell.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years Lola Chaney Bunnell; a daughter Shannon Pickett and her husband Kevin of Glasgow, a sister Mary Kathryn Bunnell of Munfordville; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Gerald Chaney of Munfordville.
The funeral for Jerry Scott Bunnell will be 1pm Thursday, October 12th at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Goodman Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12-8pm and on Thursday from 8am-12noon at the Sego Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial gifts may be given to the Goodman Cemetery fund or a donation of Bibles to Gideons International.
