Jerry Thomas Connaughton Jr.

Jerry Thomas Connaughton, Jr., a devoted husband, father, brother, and son, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 58 in Richmond, Texas.

Born to Wilma & Steve Frye and Jerry Connaughton, Sr., Jerry lived a life marked by curiosity, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela C. Connaughton, and his cherished daughters, Kelly and Amber Connaughton, with whom he shared every hobby and adventure with. His sister, Charlotte Davidson, also mourns the loss of her steadfast brother.

Jerry's passions were rooted in the great outdoors-he found joy in hunting, fishing, rescuing turtles, and caring for his fish. A lifelong baseball fan, he could often be found watching games with the same precision and focus he brought to his many projects. Whether revamping old guns, making bullets, collecting antique fishing rods, or building intricate Lego models of NASA spaceships and Star Wars scenes, Jerry's hands were always busy, and his mind always engaged.

Professionally, Jerry made a lasting impact at Schlumberger, where his ingenuity led to the achievement of over 20 patents. He was known for his strength, diligence, and perfectionism-qualities that shaped both his career and his personal life.
