Jerry Cox Obituary
Jerry graduated from Bell Union High School, class of 1957. He was inducted into the United States Army on November 16, 1961 in Greencastle, IN and was honorably discharged on November 15, 1963 in Fort Hood, TX. Jerry married Robbie Lee Capps on March 24, 1984 in Celina, TN. He retired from Areofab as a machinist after 32 years.
Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of nearly 38 years, Robbie Lee Cox; his children: Cheryl Green, Brian Cox, Wendell Wheeler Jr., Joseph Wheeler, Victor Wheeler, Anthony Wheeler, Christopher Wheeler and Audrey White; his brothers, Dennis Cox and Kenneth Cox; as well as 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Cox and Norman Cox.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at One Body Ministries, 3132 Carson Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
