Jerry Lynn Cunningham, of Apache, Oklahoma, was born December 9, 1958 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Claude Cunningham and Billie (Pounds) Prentis. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Geronimo. He was 65.
Visitation will be Friday, October 4, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Crews Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 5, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Mike Bates officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Clyde Cunningham, Aaron Robertson, Jeremy Cunningham, Joe Cunningham, Colten Burris, and Timothy Cunningham; honorary pallbearers are Mike May, Ricky Cunningham, Jeff Cunningham, and Logan Burris. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
Jerry drove racecars in his younger years. He loved to drive so his ideal choice of lifetime employment was being a cross-country truck driver. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed sharing his faith with people.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Cunningham; mother and stepfather, Billie and Sonny Prentis; brothers: Tommy Cunningham, Billy Bob Cunningham; and sister, Tammie Riley.
Jerry is survived by his children: Jennifer and husband Aaron Robertson of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Jeremy Cunningham of Ringling, Jina and husband Colten Burris of Geronimo; and grandchildren: Hannah Robertson, Piper Robertson, Logan Burris, and Nolan Burris. He is also survived by five brothers: Clyde Cunningham, Ricky Cunningham, Timothy Cunningham, Joe Cunningham, and Jeff Cunningham; and three sisters: Joy Griffin, Michelle Taylor, and Kim Frazier.
