Jerry DeMeola Obituary
Ocala - Jerry DeMeola, 80, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Ocala, Florida. Jerry was born on October 24, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey to John DiMeola and Rose DiMeola (nee Ciccarelli). He was an entrepreneur in the food service industry for many years in New Jersey.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes (Nancy) DeMeola, in 2013.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry DeMeola (Heather) of Andover, New Jersey and Michael DeMeola (Karen) of Ocala, Florida; daughters, Laura LaTulipe (Fred), Lisa Wilson (Barry) both of Ocala, Florida and Christina Dawson (Walter Ravon) of Orlando, Florida; sisters, Rosalie Giunta and Debra Volpe both of New Jersey and former son-in-law, Byron Durning, Jr. of Florida. As well as twelve grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan, Jerry, Michael, Brandon, Victoria, Brittany, Byron III, Presley, John Paul, Alyssa and Connor.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6:30 to 8:00pm, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, FL with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
