Jerry Henley Dew 80 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
Jerry was born December 9, 1942, in Springhill, Louisiana. He was a Tool Pusher for Reliance Well Service for 30 plus years and worked at International Paper Company for 15 years. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Community Church and later attended College View Baptist Church. Jerry loved fishing and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Mortimer Dew and Ruby (Eubanks) Dew; brother Mort Dew, Jr.; two sisters, Norma Martin and Carolyn "Honey" Beene; and a niece Kay Martin.
Jerry is survived by his children, Tina Hicks of Magnolia, Todd Dew and Ann Cabala of Macedonia; Toby Dew and Jerri of Waldo; grandchildren, Devin Dew and Haley Shelton, Trevor Dew and Cy, Taylor Dew and Katherine of Ohio, Trent Dew, Raigan Dew Rowe, Joshua Dew and Grace, Jonathan West and Joni, and Sasha Boxell; great grandchildren, Heidi Rowe, Axle Rowe, Blakely Dew, Bowen Scott Dew, Tristan Wayne Dew, Salem Dew, Sienna Dew, Nathan Michael Driggers, Chloe West, Adelyn West, Tyler West, Brooklyn West, and Lilly will make her arrival in 2024; special friends, Walter Ray Fitzgerald and Charlene Fowler; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Bullock and Mike Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Trent Dew, Devin Dew, Josh Dew, Trevor Dew, Jonathan West, and Ronnie Collier.
Memorials may be made to College View Baptist Church, 2121 North Washington, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753.
