l'm truly sorry for your loss. One of the greatest causes of grief is the loss of a loved one to death. During this time we need comfort that soothes our heart, our mind and both our physical and spiritual health. But even in situations such as death, may you be comforted in knowing that God "heals the brokenhearted" and comforts all who mourn during this difficult time. (Psalm 147:3)

My heart and prayers go out to a family so loved and beloved by a such a beautiful heart that still flows with a river rich in grace, as it flows through the desert and waters the delightful flowering plants sprung from the seeds that he has sown.
During the early years of my life, I only caught a glimpse of him from his visits that always seemed too short when all the cousins were together; however, I frequently had the privilege to experience the positive, uplifting effect he had on the lives of others that were always around me, namely: my Dad & Mom and my Grammer & Grandad. If fact, they frequently spoke of my Uncle Jerry and the members of his family and I got the impression that they were very, very specialthose to be looked up to and imitated.
Needless to say, I put a lot of weight on whatever was said and I revered my Uncle and his family for all these many years.
During the past 15 years, I've been amazed at him, how he would be there for his kids and grandkids and yet frequently call my Dad, my brother, and my sisters (as well as myself). He was always so kind, thoughtful, full of joy, and upliftinga very positive, forward thinking man.
In the last 5 years I was particularly blessed and lifted in spirit every time he called, mostly because he spoke about his journey, about God and His love. Those beautiful moments were moments of grace that I will treasure for the rest of my life. And now, dear Uncle, together with all of dear our family in heaven, sing His praises on behalf of we who are still making that journey . . .

I will miss my friend Jeraldine more than I can say. As heartbroken as we all are, it's hard not to giggle whenever he comes to mind. I love you, my friend...

A legacy of grace with a twist on life from a woman who knew him for over fifty years. As a father of six children, Jerry George was daring, courageous and a lot of fun. He dared the odds (As many people know), he was courageous to face his challenges and follow after God, and he greatly enjoyed life daily beyond what many people choose. Time with him over those years were filled with lectures and crazy fun moments and it is in those little moments that he really lived and that defined him. Daily he would say, "It's a great day to be alive!" and live each day to the fullest. He loved life. He taught me to extend people grace, to look out for the little guy, and to laugh a lot. He was a generous man and i will miss our deeper conversations about God. Some people say my dad was bigger than life, i say he knew "The Lords everlasting love is better than life..."
