Jerry D. Guess

Funeral services celebrating the life of Jerry Donnell Guess, age 96 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. Officiating at the service will be Rev. C. V. Holley. There will be time of visitation on Wednesday, August 3rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Jerry was born on September 23, 1925 in Oil City, LA to Thomas Jefferson Guess and Mary Gertrude Tinkle Guess and passed away at his residence on July 31, 2022. He was a Catholic by faith.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Martha Hammock Guess; sons, Donny Guess, Joey Guess and Kacey Guess; siblings, Willa G. McCord, Pat G. Caldwell and Clayton Guess; great granddaughter, Cameron Bottleburgh.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mimi G. Beck and husband, George, Kellie G. Morris and husband, Jim and Kevin Guess. He is also survived by his brother, Craig Guess, 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Billy Ray McNeal, George Beck, Ted Shelton, Clay Guess and Dean Anders.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Billie Goodson, Billy Ray McNeal, Vivian Fire Department, Ted Shelton and Craig Guess for the love and care shown to Jerry.
