LEWISBURG — Jerry Hutzelman, 76, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at Kettering Hospital in Dayton.
Born on July 25, 1948, in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late, Roy Weldon & Mary Armenta (Swerer) Hutzelman. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1967. Jerry proudly served in the US Air Force and then in the Ohio National Guard for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Lewisburg. He was a telecommunication contractor and worked with FEMA during several national disasters. Jerry had most recently worked at Birchwood Genetics.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert & Freda Fullerton; brothers Ron Fullerton and Tom Fullerton, and daughter Rhonda Turpin.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicki Hutzelman of Lewisburg; son and daughter-in-law Ron & Marilyn Brumback of Brookville; son-in-law Ray Turpin of West Alexandria; brothers and sister-in-law, Albert & Arlene Fullerton of Indiana; sisters and brother Karen, Sharon and Bud of California; sister-law, Diane Fullerton of Indiana; granddaughter Elizabeth & Andrew Human of Martinsburg, West Virginia; cousins Jim Swerer and family, and Judy Swerer Cochrane and family.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg.
