Jerry Arnell Jackson, 75, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2026 with his loving wife by his side, after a long battle with kidney disease. He was born on February 24, 1951, in Tampa, Florida.
Jerry was a man deeply devoted to his family and friendships. He spent his entire career working in the HVAC industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Over the years, he built many lasting relationships both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Jerry found great joy in the outdoors. He was especially passionate about fishing and enjoyed deer hunting with his nephews. He also loved spending time playing cards with his friends and family. Jerry will be remembered as a loving and kind person who truly enjoyed helping others.
He was a member of the Florida Free Poker League for more than 20 years, where he formed and maintained many meaningful friendships within the community.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Grace Jackson; his children, Shannon Schumacher and her husband, Frank, Christopher Jackson and his wife, Stacey, and Rebecca Morro and her husband, Keith; his stepdaughters, Sandra Paterscak and her husband, Tony, and Mary Jo Reeves; his grandchildren, Ashley Schumacher, Austin, Joey, and Cooper Jackson, Skyelar Harding, and Clayton and Mackenzie Morro; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Alta Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alto and Judy Jackson; his daughter, Sharon Jackson; and his grandson, Jacob Schumacher.
There will be a celebration of Jerry's life on April 25, 2026 at the Beach Mobile Home Park in Leesburg, Florida at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Kidney Foundation or Lou Extensions in Tavares, Florida.
