Jerry Wayne Johnson

Jerry Wayne Johnson, 86, of Piggott, Arkansas passed away on January 5, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 12, 1939 in White Oak, Arkansas to Carl and Ruthie (Farmer) Johnson. Jerry was a member of the Bethel Church in Nimmons, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; two sons: Bryan Johnson (Charity) of Greenway, Arkansas and Tony Johnson (Valerie) of Bradford, Arkansas; one daughter: Chris Ann Cavaness (Donnie) of Nimmons, Arkansas; one sister: Iva Mae Hynds of Rector, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law: Michelle Johnson of Campbell, Missouri; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his wife: Betty Johnson; parents: Carl and Ruthie (Farmer) Johnson; one son: Jerry Don Johnson; two brothers: Roy Oneil Johnson and William Andrew Johnson; and three sisters: Mary Lou Young, Shirley Jean Stanfill, Eula Dean Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Church (725 CR 553 – Rector, Arkansas) The family will receive visitors at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Nimmons Cemetery in Nimmons, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
