Jerry David Kiesel, 67, of Haubstadt, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at River Oaks. Jerry was born on April 16, 1957 to Ivan and Mary Lou (Martin) Kiesel. Jerry is survived by 5 sisters, Shirley (Bob) Brown, Sue (Tom) Key, Mary (Mark) Newman, Connie (Russell) Elpers, and Bug (Les) Conner and 3 brothers, Rick (Debra) Kiesel, Danny Kiesel, and Joe Kiesel. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece Kim Kiesel, and brother Thomas.
Jerry started working at Whirlpool in January 1978 until June 2010. Jerry enjoyed painting his whole life. He had jobs up to the day of his passing. For many years, he painted with his father, Ivan, and brothers. Jerry loved watching sports and predicting the outcome! He also enjoyed the many, many friends he had at the local watering holes. Throwing back some beers and solving the world's problems is what he enjoyed. He will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to his nephews, Brian and Brandon Conner, his siblings, and River Oaks for taking great care of him to the very end.
A private graveside ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Haubstadt.
There will be a celebration of life following the ceremony from12 to 4 PM at Nisbet Inn for the public. Come out and have a cold one for Jerry, who was loved by everyone.
