Jerry Kilpatrick V.

Mr. Jerry Veston Kilpatrick age 77 of Boaz, left this world on September 25, 2022. Jerry passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer and a stroke. He was surrounded by his loving family who will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Cofield officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Kilpatrick was born in Alabama on March 31, 1945, to Veston and Polly Green Kilpatrick. Jerry was a long-time and well-liked used car dealer and farmer. He loved his family, his friends, and his roots. His home always had an open door policy to all who came or anyone who needed a helping hand. He loved life and the simple pleasures of taking care of his beautiful farm. During breaks from work, Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. Jerry was a member of Second Baptist Church of Boaz.
Mr. Kilpatrick is survived by his Sons: Jon Kilpatrick and Joe Van Kilpatrick both of Boaz, 5 Grandchildren: Jonathan Kilpatrick, Kerrigan Kilpatrick, Jovana Kilpatrick, Jake Teal and Joe Teal, Sister: Jane K. Bishop (Jim) of Muscle Shoals, Niece: Meagan Bishop Puckett (Andy), Nephews: Brad Bishop (Mischa) and Jason Bishop. He was preceded in death by his parents: Veston & Polly Kilpatrick, Grandparents: Joseph & Creola Kilpatrick and Dennis and Nellie Green.
Pallbearers will be Jim Bishop, Brad Bishop, Jason Bishop, Tim Whitt, Carl Cofield, George Kilpatrick and Doug Creech.
