Jerry Leon Kilpatrick, 77 of Killeen, passed from this life Tuesday, November 9, 2024, peacefully at his home. Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with a visitation starting at 4:30 pm and services immediately following at 6 pm. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 am Tuesday, December 3, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Jerry was born July 28, 1947, in Temple, Texas to Oliver and Francis Kilpatrick. He married his wife on March 12th, 1968. Jerry enlisted in the Navy shortly after, and served during the Vietnam war, earning three medals, one which was 3 bronze stars. Jerry and Judy had their first born, Johnny, and he left the Navy. Jerry was a trainer and coach of the Special Olympics where his wife was area director, and his son was an athlete. Jerry was a wonderful golfer, where he enjoyed spending his time with his friends. He and his family opened Quality Heating and Air Conditioning in the 1970's. He was his happiest when he was working his business, with family, and spending time with friends.
