Passed away peacefully December 27, 2024 at the age of 100.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Ruth Pollard Lawton. Survived by his daughters, Priscilla (Arthur) Thomas & Carol (Robert) Collins; grandchildren, Cheryl (James) Farnham, Jennifer (Mo) Choumil, Matthew (Denise) Thomas, Debra (Seth) Crowder; great grandchildren, Bradley Farnham, Nathan Farnham, Jonathan Farnham, William Thomas, Benjamin Thomas, Zakary Choumil, Colton Crowder.
Jerry was born in Morristown, NJ to the late Harold & Lillian Lawton. He served in the US Marine Corps during WWII. He was an Executive Director at various YMCAs in the New Jersey and New York area.
Per his request there will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
