He was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL, VFW Post #5691 Collinsville, IL and American Legion Post #365 Collinsville, IL, He was a die hard St. Louis Cardinal Fan and a United States Korean War Army Veteran.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Legion #365 in Collinsville, IL.
Visitation: Visitation from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, April 10, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, April 10, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken York officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
