Jerry Lee Lindsey, born on August 31, 1952, in, SC, bid farewell to this world on June 12, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. His journey through life was marked by his passion for connecting with others and his love for music and family.

Jerry dedicated 25 years of his life to being car salesman, where his charismatic personality and genuine care for customers made him a beloved figure in the community. Beyond his professional life, Jerry found solace and joy in music. He was a talented saxophonist and trumpeter whose melodies could uplift even the heaviest hearts. His involvement in the church resonated with his spiritual side, reflecting his unwavering faith.

However, Jerry's true treasure lay in the moments spent with his family. Whether it was playing games together or sharing laughter around the dinner table, he cherished every second with his loved ones. His presence brought warmth and unity to family gatherings, creating memories that will be held dear for generations to come.

Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be carried forward by those who survive him. His wife Bonnie Lindsey stood by his side through thick and thin, embodying the essence of true partnership. Their daughters Autumn (John) Priser, Donica Priser, and Crystal (Michael) May will forever hold him close to their hearts.

In addition to his daughters, Jerry's grandchildren Kaylee Acton, Grace May, Jacob Gross, Zachary May, and Joshua Priser brought immense joy into his life. Their playful antics and innocent smiles brightened even the darkest days for Jerry.

Among those grieving his departure are his dear siblings, Linda Altom and Patricia Woodall who shared both laughter and tears with Jerry over the years. The loss is also felt deeply by cousins, Debbie Beckham and Danny Wade who admired Jerry for his warm spirit and generous nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  Alvin Thomas & Mamie Louise Lindsey; father & mother-in-law, Donald Eugene & Imogene Jacks; and brothers, Thomas "Tony" Lindsey and Billy Lindsey.

As we mourn the passing of our beloved Jerry Lee Lindsey, let us remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the light he brought into our lives. His laughter will echo in our memories, his love will guide us through dark times, and his spirit will remain eternally alive in our hearts. May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished beyond measure during his time on this earth.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 4-6pm at the Newcomer North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 6pm.
