Jerry Clyde Lott

Mr. Jerry Clyde Lott, age 77, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Jerry was born November 3, 1948, in Douglas, Georgia, to the late D. B. Lott and the late Ruby Chaney Lott. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who honorably served during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he became a commercial truck driver and made a career driving for many years for Walmart before his retirement. Jerry was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time working in his yard and loved his cats. He attended West Ward Church of God. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Lott.

Jerry leaves behind a daughter, Stacy Paige Lott Hill of Douglas, Georgia; 4 grandchildren: Kaitlin, Meaghan, Owen and Evan; a sister, Winona Walker of Savannah, Georgia; a brother, Teddy Lott of Douglas, Georgia; and a lifelong friend, Kathy Mitchell, of Douglas, Georgia; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Jerry will be laid to rest in the Douglas City Cemetery at a later date. There are no services scheduled at this time.
