Obituary of Jerry Marinacci

Jerry Marinacci, 75, Of Minotola, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was the son of the late Jerry Sr. and Diana (Manzoni) Marinacci.

Jerry was a shop teacher at Bridgeton High School for 25 years. His hobbies included reading about the history of World War II, Amateur Radio Communications, Target Shooting at several local ranges, Woodworking and Electronics.

Jerry was active in local government, serving as the Buena Borough Emergency Management Coordinator and served on the Land Use Board and the Municipal Utility Authority. He was instrumental in establishing a Borough-wide Radio Communications System.

Jerry was an Advanced Class Amateur Radio Operator, member of the American Radio Relay League and served as an instructor teaching licensing classes in Cumberland and Atlantic Counties. He founded the BARC (Buena Amateur Radio Club) and maintained several amateur radio repeaters providing coverage throughout Southern New Jersey.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was a Range Safety Officer, Certified Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Instructor. and was also a member of the Quinton Sportsmen's Club, the Cumberland Riflemen, The Pine Valley Gun Club and the Pine belt Sportsman's Club where he enjoyed many hours target shooting and most of all Trap Shooting.

He enjoyed reminiscing about growing up during the 50's & 60's, driving the muscle cars of that era and how everyone knew everyone in our old neighborhood.

He was the epitome of a big brother until his death and will be sadly missed by his many friends, younger brother Bob Marinacci and sister-in-law Marie of Elverson, PA and his two nephews, Dean and Chase Marinacci.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th from 1pm to 2pm followed by a funeral service at 2pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
