Jerry L. Martin

Jerry L. Martin Jr., 58, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on December 28, 1966, in Marion, Indiana, to the late Jerry L. Martin Sr. and Karen Sue (Merckx) Martin. Jerry was a 1984 graduate of Southern Wells High School. He worked for Bar Brothers in Marion and Wayne Metal in Markle, where he was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to help anyone in need.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, gardening, hanging out with friends, working on mowers and small engines, and gambling at casinos. He was kind, caring and loving to everyone he knew. Above all, Jerry had a generous heart and found true joy in helping others.

Loving survivors include his siblings, Patty S. Martin of Van Buren, IN, Betty L. Brockhaus of Marion, IN, and Danny S. (Tanya Brown) Martin of Van Buren, IN; nephews, Zachary (Lindsey) Zehner of Montpelier, IN, Derek Martin; niece Kirstie (Jake) Heater; great nephews Dylan Martin and Zane Frieszell; great niece Haiden Van Ness; and additional great niece and nephew, Eli and Dixie.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember Jerry's life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1–3 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, Indiana.
