Jerry McDonald, 82, of Blackwell passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Jerry was born on November 16, 1942 in McCurtain County, Oklahoma to Jerry and Mary Elliot Tyler. She graduated from high School in Forth Stockton. Jerry married Jon McDonald on December 10, 1960 in San Angelo. He passed away on January 10, 2025 after 64 years of marriage. Jerry was the office manager for Dr. Richard Stoebner for over 30 years. After her retirement they moved to Blackwell to enjoy the outdoors. She loved painting, using her green thumb to grow plants and flowers, and fishing. Everyone that knew Jerry knew that she was not afraid to give her opinion on any topic.
She was preceded in death by a brother Jack Tyler; and a sister, Billie Jean Robinson-Adams.
Survivors include three sons, Josh Dwain McDonald and wife Tracy of Christoval, Jerry Jefferson McDonald and wife Kelly of Livingston, and James Darin McDonald and wife Teresa of Carlsbad; a daughter, Johnna Ugalde and husband Nick of San Angelo; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Wiese, Jodi McDonald, Jake McDonald, Ty McDonald, Gage McDonald, Garret McDonald, Eli McDonald, Steven Ugalde, and Candice Ugalde; 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Flodell Easterly of Oklahoma; a brother, Butler Tyler and wife Vashti of Bolivia, North Carolina; and many nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Bronte Health and Rehab Center for the care and love they provided Jerry.
