Oh my Jerry just learning of your passing. You were such a fun warm hearted guy! You always lit the room up when you were around. So sorry to hear this. Sending many Prayers for your wife Suzanne and brother Tom. .. ;(

I am saddened to hear this about Jerry. I am closer in age to his brother, Tom, and sister, Sara, but the McKelvy name in our hometown of Camden, Tennessee, was highly respected, especially in the football community. Their family was special to me. Sending love and my sincerest condolences to Suzanne, and the entire family.

I was introduced to "JR" in the early part of this century by one of his longtime buddies, Harold Stamps.. I always called him "Rocky Top" and he called me "Bulldog" because I'm a UGA grad. He wanted to know if there was anybody in Alabama that he could trust in business other than Randy Peppers and Harold suggested me and my company... We did business for over 25 years and there wasn't anyone that I or the support staff in our company enjoyed talking to more than him and he made doing business with him a joy. Beside dealing with him in business, I will really miss him as a personal friend and I send me and our company's condolences to Suzanne and the entire McKelvey family for their loss....
