Jerry Lee Moon, 79, Twelve Mile, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Woodbridge of Logansport.

Born May 25, 1943, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, he was the son of the late Wendell Roger and Freida Maxine (Bookwalter) Moon.  On June 5, 1965, he was married to Anselmine P. "Mimi" Martinato, and she survives.

Jerry lived in Cass County his entire life.  He was a graduate of Twelve Mile High School in 1961 before joining the United States Army.  He had worked in Civil Service, retiring from Grissom Air Force Base.  Over the years had been employed as a body-shop mechanic in the garages at Grable's Chevrolet and Slifer's Ford, both in Twelve Mile.

Survivors include his wife, Mimi Moon, Logansport; daughter, Patricia (Ed) McGuire, Macy; son, Pascal (Beth) Moon, Twelve Mile; grandchildren, Blake (Raine) Moon, Noblesville; Hayden Tomlinson, Twelve Mile; Sydney Moon, Twelve Mile; and Riley McGuire, Macy; two great-grandchildren, Oliver Russo and August Moon, both of Noblesville; sister, Carmen Sue Carter, Russiaville; and sister-in-law, LaVerne Hartzler Moon, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Onis Moon and Everett Moon.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Twelve Mile.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mcclainfh.com.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Cemetery.
