Jerry Morgan Obituary
Jerry married the love of his life, Mary Nell Dedmon, on December 23, 1960. He enjoyed classic cars and trucks, working in his yard, and spending time mowing his lawn. Jerry worked for many years as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Morgan; his second wife, Mona; his son, Justin W. Morgan; and his parents, Beavlee and Gladys Morgan.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Malinda (Rodney) Holt and Marilyn (Tim) Manes; his brother, Ron Morgan; his grandchildren, Quinn Wilde, Michaela Holt, and "Little Bubby" Ronnie Thompson; and his brother-in-law, Lonny Dart.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Mansfield, Arkansas.
A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Coop Prairie Cemetery in Mansfield.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Sherry Hile and the staff of Brookfield Senior Living in Fort Smith, Arkansas, for the personal care and support they gave to Jerry and his family during the past year of his residency.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral & Cremation - Mansfield.

Would like to send my condolences to his family. I am a cousin of his and only got to meet him one time as the big difference between our ages, but his mom was my dad's sister and I whole heartedly regret that I never got to meet everyone and get to know them but know my heart goes out to you and should you like to get in touch with me or my brother please feel free to do so. I did not know Jerry well in the short time I spent visiting with him, however, from the beginning, I so clearly sensed his heart of goodness, his honesty, integrity and love. In a difficult and challenging world, we often lose our way, but shining ahead before us, by the light of the lives of good and decent men like Jerry, is the loving arm of God. I am very grateful that ours paths crossed and that I was honored enough to be his friend. May his beloved family be comforted and graced with knowing how deeply he was treasured by so many.
