Leonette Hammons

Leonette Hammons, 73, of Mansfield, Arkansas, passed into the arms of our Lord on January 11, 2026. She was born on February 2, 1952, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to J.T. and Doris (Casto) Smith.
Leonette was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a passionate beautician and owned and operated Leonette's 96 Style Shop in Mansfield, along with Tina Tobey, for 34 years. She was also an accomplished seamstress, and a faithful member of The Good Fight Church in Huntington, Arkansas.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sherelle London of Hartford, Arkansas, and Angelia Jewell of Van Buren, Arkansas; two sisters, Dedria Pettus of Huntington, Arkansas and Lisa Buckner of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one brother, Dennis Smith of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four grandsons, five great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Doris Smith, and her husband, Don Hammons.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2 p.m. at The Good Fight Church in Huntington, Arkansas with Rev. Travis Pettus officiating.
