Jerry Moses

Willis "Jerry" Moses, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Jerry was born on October 25, 1940 and was preceded in death by parents Sidney Columbus and Della Mae Allen Moses. Also preceded in death, brothers; Lee, Sidney Jr., Forrest, Corbin, and Leroy Moses, sisters; Roberta Stephens and Bernice Moses. Jerry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served from 1961-1965. Soon after his discharge he began his career in sales. In 1974, he began working for Clayton Homes, recruited by long time friend, Ty Kelly. Jerry spent nearly 30 years with his Clayton family; setting sales records that stand to this day and having the time of his life. Jerry was an avid sports fan. He loved the Tennessee Volunteers, fishing, and golfing. One of his most cherished memories was winning the title of Senior Champion in 2011 at Madisonville Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Carol Odom Moses; daughter, Leslie Moses; son-in-law Greg; grandchildren, Andrew and Macy; and special friends, Paul and Billie Walker, and Nathan and Halie Anna Duncan.
The family expresses their gratitude for the support and kindness shown by the caregivers at Starr Health and Rehabilitation, Etowah, TN.
