Jerry Lee Mudford, age 89, of Crowley, Texas and formerly of Muleshoe, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was born to Lottie and Avon Mudford in Fouke, Arkansas. where he grew up with three brothers and two sisters and has been a follower of Christ since childhood. At the age of 10, Jerry moved to California with his family, where he lived until he was old enough to Join the United States military. He served in the U.S. Airforce for eight years. On October 3,1958, he married his first wife, Patricia Carmichael in Arcata, California. They were married for more than thirty years and had two daughters. Jerry, being the carpenter that he was, built two houses for his family. After moving to Muleshoe, Tx in 1982, he worked at Wheelabrator Coal services until his retirement. In 1997, he married his second wife, Maudie Coffman Speck and through this marriage, he gained a third daughter. After their marriage, Jerry and Maudie relocated to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2001, where Jerry was a deacon of Mountain Home Baptist Church. Following Maudie's passing in 2012, Jerry remained in Mountain Home until 2023, when he moved to the Fort Worth area to be closer to his family. He spent his final years surrounded by his family until his passing.
Jerry is survived by his children, Kathy and Joe Ambriz of Cleburne, Tx; Brenda and Shane Kirk of Godley, Tx; and Sandra and Mike Walker of Cedar Hill, Tx; his sister Donna and Carol Frizzell of Sylva, NC; his grandchildren, Kristen Ambriz of Cleburne, Tx; Joe Christopher Ambriz of Marana, AZ; Brittany and Eddie Alvarado of Glen Rose, Tx; Brianna and Tyler Tidwell of Burleson, Tx; Matthew and Emily Ambriz of Cypress, Tx; Lacie and Dakota Berry of Cresson, Tx; Arron Walker of Cedar Hill, Tx; his great-grandchildren Bethany, Emma and Ava Alvarado; Kadance Espinoza; Chloe, Hannah, and Riley Tidwell; Cooper and Skyler Berry; Evelyn and Ella Ambriz. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He is proceeded in death by his wife Maudie Mudford and first wife Patricia Carmichael Mudford; his parents Lottie and Avon Mudford; three brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Jerry's grandsons Joe Christopher, Matthew, Eddie, Tyler, Dakota, and Aaron.
