Jerry Mack Nash

Jerry Mack Nash, 85, of Heath, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 18, 2025. Born on May 29, 1940, on Ace Hugh's Farm in Heath Texas, Jerry Mack was the son of James Alvis Nash and Lois Katherine (Davis) Nash.
Jerry Mack was the kind of man who never met a stranger. Outgoing, loud in the best way, and always quick with a joke, he had a natural ability to make people feel like old friends within minutes. He was a lifelong outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and being anywhere outside.
He was known for his sharp sense of humor and his legendary one-liners. One of his running jokes was about repeating the third grade "three times" - a story he loved to exaggerate and retell to get a laugh. His grandchildren knew him simply as "G-Pa," a title he wore proudly, always ready with a smile, a story, or a teasing joke.
Jerry Mack was preceded in death by his parents; James and Lois Nash; sisters Joye Page and Dianne Nash; and grand daughter Ryleigh Mironack.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Joyce (Brown) Nash of Heath, TX; his son, Clint Nash, and wife Amy; grandchildren Hailey Sturdy and husband Chris, Aaron Nash and wife Chloe, James "Mack" Nash, Autumn Sides, Alessa Martindale, Harper Nash, Aria Owens, and Lyla Mironack; and great-grandchildren Iris Sturdy and Jaxon Sturdy. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Donnelson.
Jerry Mack's legacy lives on through the laughter he brought, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave freely to those lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A public time of visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087.

A funeral service to honor the life of Jerry Mack Nash will take place the following day, Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, TX. Interment will follow immediately after conclusion of the chapel service at Heath Cemetery, located at 224 Smirl Dr, Heath, TX 75032.
