Jerry Oxendine Obituary
A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, he was born on January 14, 1948, to the late Rev. Sidney and Sue Oxendine, but spent most of his life in Gaston County.
Jerry was a member of Gaston Baptist Church in Dallas, NC, where he was the organist for over ten years. He retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He also volunteered at the Civil Air Patrol where he had the rank of Colonel. He was an avid Ham radio operator, CAP Kitty Hawk 426.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Oxendine.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Richard Gaddis, will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:30 AM, at Gaston Baptist Church, 504 S. Gaston St., Dallas, NC.
The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is honored to serve the Oxendine family.

Jerry was one of my favorite residents. He and I would pick on one another every time we saw each other. I am saddened by his passing but I know he is flying high once again. My condolences to his family.
