Benson, NC: Mr. Jerry Wayne Parrish, age 73 of Elevation Road passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. The Parrish Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at The Barn. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Jerry was born on October 31, 1952 in Harnett County to the late James R. and Doris Benson Parrish. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Sorrell. Jerry retired from PGI in Benson after 43 years. After retirement, Jerry enjoyed working on his farm and spending time with family and friends. He had a love for speed and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a hardworking husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa B. Parrish; daughter, Taylor Tripp; sister, Priscilla Byrd; several nieces and nephews.
