Jerry Charles Payne passed away June 5th, 2024, he was 70 years old. He was a loving husband to Tanny Payne, and they lived in his old family home place where he grew up his entire life. He is survived by his 3 children and 4 grandchildren, and 3 siblings. daughter Tiffani Hartley and son in law Chris Hartley and their children Charli and Christopher Hartley, His son Tyler Payne and daughter in law Rachel Barrett and their children Brailey Payne and Bradley Ivie, daughter Mandy Sinkinson and son in law Scott Sinkinson, His siblings Mickey Payne, Larry Payne and Susie Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Kay Dameron, and Joan Pendley.
He was such a simple man and loved everyone. He had such a kind heart and would do anything for you. If you knew him you know he loved to tinker around and was a grass cutting machine. They say that grass isn’t greener on the other side, but in this case, we hope it is because the Lords got him the best grass cutting machine there is! Our hearts are heavy, but we know you’re at peace. We love you dearly and you will always be our Poppy!
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040,
