Jerry Putteet Obituary
He was born June 20, 1945, in Casey County, to the late Jerry M. and Grace Christine Hasty Putteet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Thurman and his brother-in-law, Phillip Patterson. Bro. Putteet was Pastor of Russell Heights Baptist Church until his health failed and a former Educator.
Survivors include:
Two sons – Jerry Todd Putteet of Cane Valley and Brian Lee Putteet of Somerset
Two daughters – Kristina Smith (Jimmy) and Melissa Putteet all of Somerset
One sister – Juanita Patterson of Cane Valley
Seven Grandchildren – Matthew Lee Putteet, MacKenzie Putteet, Lilee Alexander, Brilee Putteet, Bailey Putteet, Peyton Putteet, Kyndal Putteet
One great-grandchild – Sadie Mae Schultz
Funeral service – Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Wilburn Bonta officiating
Burial in Willow Springs Cemetery in Casey County
Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Monday
Casket Bearers: Matthew Lee Putteet, Nik Schultz, Jimmy Smith, Jack New, Michael McMillan, Will Reynolds, Harrison Moss
