Jerry Newt Reagan, our loving father, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, at the age of 89.
He was born June 13, 1935, in Thatcher, Arizona, to Newt and Sybol Reagan. He graduated from Redlands California High School in 1953. He married Carma Snow in July 28, 1954. She died August 23, 2010.
Jerry was truly a jack-of-all-trades. His special skill was mechanics. He could fix anything that was broken. He helped many neighbors and friends with their broken cars, and most were pro-bono. His job of 30 years was at the California Air National Guard where he fixed the mechanical issues of many different kinds of jets and finished as a “Staff Master Sergeant Mechanic” in 1979. Jerry and Carma moved to Utah at this time where he worked at Yoho Automotive in Duchesne. Then in 1981 they moved to Altamont, Utah, where he was the “City Manager” and then Delta, Utah, where he was the Millard County Building Inspector. Following that job, became a private building inspector and worked until he was 82 years old. Jerry and Carma had many life adventures traveling to many places, rabbit ranching, gardening, bee keeping and collecting: rock collecting, insulator collecting, and antique collecting.
Jerry is survived by his five children, Chris (Cynthia) Reagan; Cynthia (Joe) Vincent; Craig (Kylie) Reagan; Charise (Fred) Goodrich; Chaunna Reagan; 20 grandchildren, Ryan Reagan, Jaime Poulsen, Amber Olsen, Jess Reagan, Jorell Vincent, Chase Goodrich, Cassidy Goodrich, Kirsten Reagan, Joshua Vincent, Aryianna Brown, Canyon Goodrich and 8 others. He also had 20 great-grand children.
Funeral service is private and the burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
