Jerry Ann Whitaker Shackelford, 79 of Decatur, passed away peacefully Sunday April 6th at her home.
Born and raised in Calhoun, TN, she was the youngest daughter to the late Carter and Marie Whitaker of Calhoun and wife to Kenny Shackelford of 61 years.
Preceded in death by sisters, Bobbye Curtis and Patsy McCall.
She leaves behind her husband, Kenny; sister, Elizabeth "Libby" and husband, Dan Ivins; daughters, Karen (Paul) McDonald and Shannon (Bryan) Sayne; grandsons, Carter and Gavin McDonald & Matthew Sayne whom she loved dearly;brother-in-Law Mike (Tammy) Shackelford; and many nieces and nephews.
The only thing that came close to her love for her family was her love for her Tennessee Volunteers. No matter what sport, she was cheering them on every step of the way.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 7th 1PM at the Calhoun United Methodist Church, Calhoun TN
