Jerry Sokolowski Obituary
Jerry was born on December 4, 1934, at the family farm in Hawkins, WI to the parents of Anna (Mierzena) and Alexander Sokolowski.
Jerry grew up with his siblings: Jenny, Mary, Chester, John, Ted, Carl, Alice, & Leonard.
As a young man Jerry worked hard on the family farm. He went to work in Chicago for a brief time where he enjoyed welding and working various jobs. Jerry returned to the farm to assist the family.
Jerry married the love of his life, Kay Marie Gavin, on July 28,1967.
As a result of their loving union, they were able to raise their 6 children: Richard, Theodore, Ana, John, Scott, & Jim.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Kay; children; Richard Sokolowski & Maria O'Bryan, Ted & Ruth Sokolowski, Ana & Gerwan Surall, John Sokolowski, Scott Sokolowski, Jim & Michelle Sokolowski, grandchildren; Hayden, Logan, & Allison; one brother, Leonard & Charlene Sokolowski.
Jerry's family will hold a private service on Saturday, December 20 at Birch Street Funeral Home in Park Falls, WI.
