Jerry R. Stuart, 70, of Warren, PA., died Thursday morning, July 10, 2025, at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 14, 1955, in Fulton, N.Y. Jerry was the son of Richard and Delores Andersen Stuart. He has been a resident of Warren, PA., since 1968. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School Class of 1973. Jerry was employed for 33 years with Blair Corporation as a receiving warehouse manager and retired from Betts Industries in June of 2017, after 10 years employment. Jerry also mowed lawn's part time for his good friend Joe McGraw for 25 years. Jerry was a member of the Warren Eagles Aerie. Jerry bowled in many leagues in the past. He enjoyed golfing, going to the casino and playing cards with his monthly card group. His greatest passion was softball. He coached little league for many years and was the head coach for Warren Area High School for several years. He played and coached for nearly 40 years in many leagues in the area. He was most proud of the New Process/Blair Lightning Team. He started and coached for 27 years; they were a force to be reckoned with in the Industrial Tournament for many years.Jerry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Manning Stuart whom he married February 24, 1984, in Warren, PA., his 3 daughters – Jessica Bowman and husband, Robert of Alexandria, VA., Stephanie Bailey and husband, Steve of Warren, PA., Stacie Stuart and companion, Eddie McCaney of Mont Clare, PA., 1 Sister – Judy Corso and husband, Joe of Brookville, FL., 7 Grandchildren who were the lights of his life, Olivia, Anna, Ella and Adelyn Bailey, Kate, Cole and Briggs Bowman, several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Stuart.The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Warren Cancer Center and Hospice of Warren County for the care they provided Jerry during his fight with cancer.Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 5 to 7 P.M. at the. Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., a celebration of Jerry's life will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, retired minister, officiating.
