Jerry Ray Sutton was the first twin born and Terry Jay Sutton was the second. He was born in Flint, Michigan in 1954, to JC and Wanda Sutton. The only time the twins were apart was the time Jerry spent in Wasilla, Alaska working for the city. He and his wife and son and dog and mother traveled by camper back to Arkansas, which was quite an adventure. Jerry was a happy and fun-loving person for most of his life. Jerry was a cabinet builder for several years. He had a dark period when his personality was not the same and suffered from brain cancer. He was of Baptist belief.
After a stroke, he lived at Three Rivers Nursing Home for the last two years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Survivors include his only son, Jessie Ray Sutton, and his precious granddaughter, Bailey; his identical twin brother, Terry Sutton, two sisters, Cheryl (Joel) Doyle and Jackie (Tom) Johnson.
Our thanks to all of the staff at Three Rivers Nursing Home and Flow and Phil Jones Hospice House. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Humane Society or Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.
