Brad and Leesa Gray

Brad and I have many fond memories of Jerry. He would often stop by on his way to or from having coffee with the locals at the Kwik Chek. He always had a good story to tell. We loved seeing him pull up in his old truck. We appreciated how he took time to stop and visit with us. Jerry, Sarah, and Shelly were great neighbors and always had time for us. It was great having them so close since they were the ones who built our house. Jerry was always very helpful anytime we had a question regarding the house. He was a blessing to us. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Sarah, I´m so sorry for your loss. I was just thinking about your early marriage and Jerry was working at P&G. They took lunches every day, or most days, since they worked night shifts. Those P&G guys were shrewd and they had contests to see which one had the best lunch. They had the wives going "beyond" to be sure each lunch was the best. I know you would plan Jerry´s lunches. I´m sure his lunch was very often the winner. Now that I think about it, maybe he just told you there was a contest, in order to have a great lunch. Ha.

I have so many happy high school memories of going to dinner and the movies with my cousins, Jerry and Sarah. Jerry would drive us an hour to see a good movie! It takes a village they say and The Swindells were part of that village for me growing up. Sending love and prayers to the family.

Jerry was one of the most helpful people in my career at P&G. As a fresh manager out of school at the Dallas Plant, Jerry coached me, helped me, and these lessons helped me grow at P&G for the next 39 years. Jerry and all the ' Celeste boys' at the Plant were the best; must be something in the water there! My best wishes to the
