Jerry was born on January 6, 1940, in Hermitage, Tennessee to Maureen Lipscomb Watson and John “Pete” Watson. He was a United States Army Veteran; a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches and was a retired head operator with Ameripol Synpol for many years. Jerry was considered a “handy man’ amongst family and friends. He loved arts and crafts and was extremely organized; keeping a pad and #2 pencil with him at all times. Jerry loved his family dearly and they loved him; he will be missed but always remembered.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Carolyn Ann LeBoeuf Watson of Nederland; daughter, Jeri Floyd and son-in law Jeff of Port Neches; grandchildren, Dara Floyd of Houston and Chase Floyd of Port Neches; his nephew, Robert LeBoeuf who was more like a son to him; other special family members that he wanted to mention, Renea and Bryan Jones and Randall Grisham.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Pete Watson and Maureen Neal Lipscomb; his aunt, Carlene “Sis” Grisham and his grandparents, Harrison and Della Neal who guided him all through his life and were always there for him since he was a young child; they made him the man that he wanted to be and the rest of the family is grateful for that.
