Jerry Wayne Keltner of Campbellsville, formerly of Columbia, son of the late Ceoda Jack Keltner and Bell Marie Burris Keltner, was born January 2, 1948 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 9:20 A.M., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Asbury Church.
Jerry was a retired employee of Garrison Construction after thirty-five years of service.
He united in marriage to Judy Tackett December 19, 1976.
Jerry enjoyed rabbit hunting, coon hunting, riding on the tractor, farming and talking to the cows. He loved his dog, taking care of his family and attempting to play guitar.
Besides his wife, Judy Keltner of Campbellsville, Jerry is survived by one son and two daughters: Jermey Keltner and wife, Kristin of Columbia, Jamie Keltner Smith and husband, DeRon of Elizabethtown and Shawna Gamble Montgomery and husband, Tim of Lexington; seven grandchildren: Keegen Taylor Keltner, DaiJa Eimaj Smith, Trenton Allen Lee Keltner, Keeshon LaTrelle Smith, Keilah Jade Heath, Connor Troy Heath and Alexandra Sha Montgomery; one brother and two sisters: Carolyn Keltner, Becky Janes and Pam Riddle of Columbia; his fur baby, Cheyenne Bodie; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family would also like to add a very special “thank you” to Isabelle Briones for being the absolute best in stepping in and helping out when she was needed. We love you, Izzy.
