Jerry Wayne Wengert ("Bomber" / "Bones"), age 65 born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away surrounded by love on August 20th, 2025

Bomber was a man full of spirit and joy. He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, or camping. A loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, he enjoyed cheering on his hometown teams. Music, dancing, and time with family and friends brought him the greatest happiness.

Raised in Sedamsville, where he spent most of his life, Bomber was deeply connected to his community and the people in it. His presence touched many, and his memory will live on in the countless hearts he influenced.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Karista Wengert; his siblings, Phyllis (Randy) Schaffer, Kenneth (Tammy) Wengert, and Joyce (Kevin) Spicer; his sister-in-law Lisa Weber; his bonus brother Troy Simpkins Sr.; and his many nieces, nephews, and all those who lovingly called him brother or uncle.

Bomber was preceded in death by his parents, Sharlette Weber and James Weber Sr., and his brothers Ralph Wengert, Robert "Skip" Wengert, and James "Jim" Weber Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, with details to be announced at a later date.

Bomber's laughter, kindness, "his jokes" and love for life will never be forgotten.
