Jerry Lawrence Williams, 88, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home.
Born June 26, 1937, in Cleveland County, NC; he was a son of the late Paul Lawrence Williams and the late Annie Hollifield Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Chappell; brother, Jim Williams, and sisters, Joyce Ritchie, Jean Weaver, and Judy Snelling.
Jerry served faithfully in the US Air Force and retired from the Norfolk Southern Railway.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Malpass Williams; daughter, Teresa Lynn Williams; grandson, Kyle McDowell; and great grandchildren, Kasher McDowell and Jocelyn McDowell.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, November 10, 2025, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Darryl Love officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point, is in charge of the arrangements.
