Mr. Jerry Milton Wilson
Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Jerry Milton Wilson, age 88 will be held 3 o’clock p.m. Monday, February 2, 2026 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Kelley, and Rev. Renee Stewart officiating. A private interment will be held. Mr. Jerry Milton Wilson, age 88, entered into rest on January 18, 2026 at his home. He was born in Graniteville, SC to the late Mr. Jerome Wilson and the late Mrs. Kathleen Ergle Wilson, and was the loving husband to the late Mrs. Dempsey Joyce Bennett Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked for Bechtal SRS until he retired in 1999. He was a member and a former Deacon of Warrenville Revival Center and also attended Mercy Church, Aiken, SC. Mr. Wilson was a children’s church pastor and traveled to many churches to minister to young people. He painted for 60 years and painted billboards, fleet trucks, and scenery portraits. Some of his other hobbies included fishing and watching Clemson football. Mr. Wilson will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: one son, Jerry Greg Wilson, Aiken; two daughters, Julie Lynn Wilson, Alburquerque, New Mexico and Monique White, Graniteville; one daughter-in-law Susan Wilson, Lexington; nieces, Rev. Renee Stewart, Aiken and Stephanie Brantley, Aiken; nephew, Todd Cook, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jerry Greg Wilson II, Jake Lee Wilson, Brent Wilson, Heather White, Blake White, Eric Keola Wilson, Kenneth Allen Wilson, and Brian James Wilson ; one great grandchild, Joaquin Garcia Wilson; sisters-in-law, Pat Busbee, Aiken; Vivian (Leonard) Cook, Aiken; and brothers-in-law, Kirk Bennett, Columbia, and Rudy Bennett, El Paso, TX. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael “Mike” Dean Wilson; his brothers, Carl Wilson, Ladson Wilson, Billy Wilson, and Robert Wilson, and one sister Annie Joyce Hamrick. Pallbearers will be Jerry Greg Wilson, II, Jake Lee, Brent Wilson, and Chuck Wilson. A visitation with the family will take place from 6-8 p.m., Friday January 30, 2026 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801, 803-648-7175.
